A Houston deck fails at the ledger, the fasteners, and the surface finish. We flash ledgers to the house, use hardware rated for treated lumber, and spec composite surfaces that will not gray into splinters after three summers.
Covered decks and porch conversions are a large part of the work. Shade is not a luxury here — it is what makes the space usable in July. We coordinate roof, ceiling fans, and railing so the addition looks like it was always on the house.
